Not much of a poem, but I decided to post it anyway. Open to interpretation.

mood:
apathetic
They stand at ready,
Arms poised and firm,
The sign is cast,
Scars of jab, stab, and burn.
What once was lush is turned to mush,
The heart still beating makes one last push,
Today is a busy day for poor Phlegyas.
And in the darkness, she sheds a simple tear,
Within that moment casts out all fear.
Her wounds run deep,
She clutches to her former self with all her strength,
When her grasp is loosed, she can't but stare
As it walks away.
Years go by, the wounds still itch
Others seem to not notice, as if they never exist.
Layers are replaced, the scars are covered up,
She is how she was before Phlegyas' day.
Sometimes in the cold darkness,
You can see the faintest mark of the wounds.
She remembers, and she knows,
They will forget.
Arms poised and firm,
The sign is cast,
Scars of jab, stab, and burn.
What once was lush is turned to mush,
The heart still beating makes one last push,
Today is a busy day for poor Phlegyas.
And in the darkness, she sheds a simple tear,

Big Blue Dress - Left unlocked for Kyek and DaeDae <3
Nov. 15th, 2006 | 08:54 pm
Lyrical post, Tito. RUN.
Big Blue Dress - Written for WoW, but applies to so many things.
I've been kicking ass since the dawn of time
I'm just a killing man that's reached my killing prime
I burn and I plunder as it suits my desire
The weapon of my choice is "great balls of fire"
Chorus:
So why, I ask, it just doesn't make much sense
That a man of my stature should have to wear a dress
I mean what, may I inquire, were you thinking on that day
When you conjured up for a man like me a robe that looks so gay
Ahhhh sit right back and your troubles melt away
Ahhhh he uses fire but his robe looks so gay
I was taught my craft at the dawn of pain
You may not like my methods but you'll surely know my name
I just think incendiary thoughts and my hands burst into flames
A few moments later and you'll never be the same
(Chorus)
So if you're embarrassed and you hang your head in shame
You'd like an opportunity to redeem your worthy name
Well just remember this: when next you look to kill
That a man who's truly skilled can look quite good in twill
(Chorus)
Edit :
Just thought about the video... If you wanna see the video go : http://video.google.com/videoplay?d ocid=1788226734163789045

Gatorade is NOT good for you!
May. 18th, 2006 | 08:46 pm
Just in case you were wondering, Gatorade is not healthy!
It's the ONLY thing different I ate within the last 24 hours and I've been puking and my stomach has been convulsing for the last 3.
Moral of this story : Stop drinking Gatorade.
Drink water.
Edit : I meant consume. Don't dwell on the eat thing. Kay? ;D

Every Life Is a Book
May. 7th, 2006 | 01:06 pm
In light of recent events.. And the upcoming start of some new ones.. I turn back to a very basic idea that has probably been used over and over and over again.
Spring is ending, Summer is beginning. Lives are changing. In this sixth year of the second millenia, it seems like chapters are ending.
Tito will be a 'man' this year. He will be able to start his life as he sees fit. I've been a horrible "big sister", but I'm really happy with who Tito is. I miss Tito, and I love talking to Tito, and soon I'll be able to give him the attention I want to. His childhood chapter is coming to an end. He'll be able to do what he wants at his own pace. I'm actually really excited about my expectations for his life. I guess that's a silly way to look at it, though.
Andy, though he won't read this, is ending his life here in Raleigh. He's finally moving on and doing what he wants to do. He's been a bit aggrivating lately, but things are stressful on us both. I honestly am hoping everything works out the way he's planning they will.
Maggie is turning a painful chapter, and while the details are not mine to tell, I have confidence she'll be coming out of this stronger and better than before. She's my Mum, and I look up to her and have complete confidence in her. Soon, I'll be able to help her in a more personal way. She'll be all right. I have complete faith in her.
George is beginning his life in California the way he should have had it when he was eighteen. Hopefully, he'll figure out what it is he wants from life and go for it.
(And I used babelfish for a good portion of that. je suis desolee...)
Let the new chapters begin. ^_^
(If you have a new chapter, post it!)

Everyone Has the Right to Wear Sunscreen
Aug. 19th, 2005 | 07:31 pm
Baz Luhrmann - Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)
Ladies and Gentlemen of the class of ’99
If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be
it. The long term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by
scientists whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable
than my own meandering
experience…I will dispense this advice now.
Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth; oh nevermind; you will not
understand the power and beauty of your youth until they have faded.
But trust me, in 20 years you’ll look back at photos of yourself and
recall in a way you can’t grasp now how much possibility lay before
you and how fabulous you really looked….You’re not as fat as you
imagine.
Don’t worry about the future; or worry, but know that worrying is as
effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing
bubblegum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that
never crossed your worried mind; the kind that blindside you at 4pm
on some idle Tuesday.
Do one thing everyday that scares you
Sing
Don’t be reckless with other people’s hearts, don’t put up with
people who are reckless with yours.
Floss
Don’t waste your time on jealousy; sometimes you’re ahead, sometimes
you’re behind…the race is long, and in the end, it’s only with
yourself.
Remember the compliments you receive, forget the insults; if you
succeed in doing this, tell me how.
Keep your old love letters, throw away your old bank statements.
Stretch
Don’t feel guilty if you don’t know what you want to do with your
life…the most interesting people I know didn’t know at 22 what they
wanted to do with their lives, some of the most interesting 40 year
olds I know still don’t.
Get plenty of calcium.
Be kind to your knees, you’ll miss them when they’re gone.
Maybe you’ll marry, maybe you won’t, maybe you’ll have children, maybe
you won’t, maybe you’ll divorce at 40, maybe you’ll dance the funky
chicken on your 75th wedding anniversary…what ever you do, don’t
congratulate yourself too much or berate yourself either – your
choices are half chance, so are everybody else’s. Enjoy your body,
use it every way you can…don’t be afraid of it, or what other people
think of it, it’s the greatest instrument you’ll ever
own..
Dance…even if you have nowhere to do it but in your own living room.
Read the directions, even if you don’t follow them.
Do NOT read beauty magazines, they will only make you feel ugly.
Get to know your parents, you never know when they’ll be gone for
good.
Be nice to your siblings; they are the best link to your past and the
people most likely to stick with you in the future.
Understand that friends come and go,but for the precious few you
should hold on. Work hard to bridge the gaps in geography and
lifestyle because the older you get, the more you need the people you
knew when you were young.
Live in New York City once, but leave before it makes you hard; live
in Northern California once, but leave before it makes you soft.
Travel.
Accept certain inalienable truths, prices will rise, politicians will
philander, you too will get old, and when you do you’ll fantasize
that when you were young prices were reasonable, politicians were
noble and children respected their elders.
Respect your elders.
Don’t expect anyone else to support you. Maybe you have a trust fund,
maybe you have a wealthy spouse; but you never know when either one
might run out.
Don’t mess too much with your hair, or by the time you're 40, it will
look 85.
Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who
supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of
fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the
ugly parts and recycling it for more than
it’s worth.
But trust me on the sunscreen…
